Welcome to InstaMed Urgent Care, where your health and convenience are our top priorities. We currently offer walk-in, scheduled same-day or  appointments, and telemedicine urgent care.

In-Person Urgent Care
 

Get fast, professional care from the comfort of home. Our licensed clinicians see adults and children by secure video or telephone. We evaluate symptoms, give clear next steps, send prescriptions to your pharmacy when appropriate, place lab orders to partner facilities, and provide work or school notes. Same day visits are often available.

Urinary and reproductive

When in person care is better

Please seek in person care or call 911 for chest pain, severe breathing trouble, severe abdominal pain, one sided weakness or stroke signs, fainting, head injury, high fever in infants, heavy bleeding, eye injury with vision change, possible broken bone with deformity, severe dehydration, or any rapidly worsening condition.

What we do not prescribe

We do not prescribe controlled substances and we do not provide new long term opioid therapy by telemedicine. We follow state and federal rules for all medications.

Age Limitation:

Minimum age requirement. Patients must be at least 1 year old on the date of service. We do not provide services to infants under 12 months.

Walk in for fast, professional care for common illnesses and minor injuries. We treat adults and children, send prescriptions to your pharmacy when appropriate, order labs or imaging through partner facilities, and provide work/school notes. We practice safely and refer to the ER when a condition requires a higher level of care.​​

 

What We Manage In Person

Colds & breathing

  • Colds and viral upper respiratory infections

  • Flu evaluation and treatment

  • COVID‑19 testing guidance and treatment

  • Sinus infections

  • Sore throat and strep testing

  • Bronchitis and cough

  • Mild–moderate asthma flare (inhaler/nebulizer therapy on site if appropriate)

  • Seasonal allergies

Ear, nose & throat / eye (non‑emergent)

  • Ear pain and swimmer’s ear

  • Middle ear infection

  • Nasal congestion and simple nosebleeds (anterior)

  • Strep throat and tonsillitis

  • Pink eye and eyelid stye
    Note: We do not remove foreign bodies from the nose or eyes.

Skin & wound care

  • Rashes (eczema, contact dermatitis, hives, poison oak/ivy)

  • Cellulitis and minor skin infections

  • Insect bites/stings

  • Minor burns

  • Superficial, uncomplicated lacerations suitable for closure (stitches/skin adhesive/strips)

  • Small/simple abscess evaluation and incision & drainage when appropriate

  • Splinter removal from skin (superficial only)

Injuries & pain

  • Sprains/strains: ankle, knee, wrist, elbow, shoulder

  • Suspected minor fractures with initial splinting and imaging orders as indicated

  • Neck and back strain

  • Tendonitis and overuse injuries

  • TMJ pain (mild)

Urinary & reproductive (limited scope)

  • Urinary tract infection (uncomplicated)

  • Vaginal yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis

  • Birth‑control counseling and refills when appropriate
    Note: We do not evaluate testicular pain due to torsion concerns—see ER.

Digestive

  • Nausea/vomiting that is mild and stable

  • Diarrhea (mild–moderate)

  • Constipation

  • Heartburn/acid reflux

  • Hemorrhoid flare‑ups (topical treatments such as hydrocortisone or other appropriate therapies; stool‑softening and care guidance)

Neurology & mood (mild)

  • Tension headache and migraine treatment

  • Lightheadedness that is brief and not severe

  • Sleep concerns and mild situational anxiety/stress support

General health

  • Fever in adults and older children who appear well

  • Medication refills when clinically appropriate

  • Tdap for wound management only when indicated

  • Lab draws or orders and imaging referrals as needed; on‑site rapid tests (COVID‑19, flu, strep), urinalysis, pregnancy test, finger‑stick glucose, and cultures when indicated​​​​

 

What we do not prescribe

We do not refill controlled substances and we do not provide new long term opioid therapy. We follow state and federal rules for all medications.

Go to the Emergency Department (or call 911) for:

  • Chest pain/pressure, severe shortness of breath, or severe wheezing not improving

  • Severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, signs of dehydration (cannot keep fluids down)

  • Severe Testicular pain or swelling (possible torsion)

  • Eye injury, vision changes, or any foreign body in the eye

  • Deep or complex lacerations, especially hand/finger cuts with possible tendon/nerve injury, wounds with visible fat/muscle, or bites to the face/hand

  • Suspected displaced fracture (broken bone with deformity), severe head injury, fainting, stroke symptoms, high fever in infants, heavy or uncontrolled bleeding, or any rapidly worsening condition.
